Transport: When moving to Strasbourg
Bikes are a very common way of transportation in Strasbourg. Also carpooling (lift-sharing), and car-sharing: there are many solutions to make your nearby travel possible. If you are coming from a long distance, Strasbourg is very well served by train and air services.

Air travel: The Entzheim international airport is located 20 minutes from the city center. Different airline companies ensure transport service to all European capitals. Strasbourg international airport is enlisted in the transports’ network due to the amount of passengers (more than 1million and half) transported through it each year.

Train: SNCF train station is situated in the city center. The train service covers all France. It takes only 2:20 by TGV to travel from Strasbourg to Paris.
Tram & Bus: Tram and buses network are integral part of the City transport community.

Tram: The Strasbourg Transport Company has today 5 tram lines. These 5 tram lines (A/B/C/D/E) serve 65 stops from 4:30 am till 00:30 midnight, Monday through Sunday.
Bus: 30 city lines are served by 283 buses and 11 inter-city lines are circulated by 57 buses.
Boat: You can admire the historical and architectural heritage of Strasbourg by taking a boat ride through the city.
Bike: There are many bicycle paths which allow you to move easily in the city traffic. It is also easy to rent a bike on the spot.
