What is TOEFL iBT®?
The TOEFL iBT test measures your ability to use and understand English at the university level. And it evaluates how well you combine your reading, listening, speaking and writing skills to perform academic tasks.

What are the advantages of the TOEFL IBT ?
The TOEFL test has over 50 test dates per year at authorized test centers around the world. You can retake the test as many times as you wish, but you cannot take it more than once in a 12-day period.

The test in detail
The TOEFL iBT® test, delivered via the internet, is an important part of your journey to study in an English-speaking country. In addition to the test, the ETS TOEFL® Program provides tools and guides to help you prepare for the test and improve your English-language skills.
There is two types of TOEFL exams but the more widespread is the exam chosen by Stralang, it consists in a 4-hours exam (40 minutes for the training and 3h30 for the exam). The exam per se is composed of 4 parts. :

You can take this exam directly in Stralang which is the only place in Alsace which accredited for that. This is not an exam to pass or fail. Each section is linked to a result between 0 and 30, the maximal result is 120. Each establishment decides the minimal required score to reach.
Results are considered valid until 2 years after the exam, and you can take the exam as many time as you want. More than 8500 institutions in 130 countries accept the TOEFL IBT.
